Education and Research Experience
2021–now Lecturer @ University of Göttingen, Göttingen, Germany
I am a member of the Isotope Geochemistry Working Group, led by Prof. Andreas Pack.
2019–2021 Post-doc @ University of Cologne, Cologne, Germany
As a member of the Environmental Isotope Geochemistry Working Group, with Dr Daniel Herwartz as PI, we worked on setting up an automated sample preparation line to measure the triple oxygen isotope composition of carbonates.
2015–2019 PhD @ Goethe University Frankfurt, Frankfurt am Main, Germany
During my PhD, I was working under Prof. Jens Fiebig on the clumped isotope composition of biogenic carbonates. I aimed to reconstruct seawater temperatures and the seawater oxygen isotope composition in deep time and related to this, to investigate kinetic isotope effects that hinder the accurate reconstructions.
2013–2015 MSc @ Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary
For my MSc thesis, I conducted bulk rock stable isotope analyses, field gamma-ray spectroscopy, and magnetic susceptibility measurements to identify and time the Early Cretaceous Weissert Carbon Isotope Event at a regionally significant section in Hungary. My advisor was Prof. József Pálfy.
