Curriculum Vitae

Research Experience

2019–now post-doc @ University of Cologne, Cologne, DE
As a member of the Environmental Isotope Geochemistry Working Group, with Dr Daniel Herwartz as PI, we aim to set up an automated sample preparation line to measure the triple oxygen isotope composition of carbonates.

2015–2019 PhD @ Goethe University Frankfurt, Frankfurt am Main, DE
During my PhD, I was working under Prof. Jens Fiebig on the clumped isotope composition of biogenic carbonates. I aimed to reconstruct seawater temperatures and the seawater oxygen isotope composition in deep time and related to this, to investigate vital effects that hinder the accurate reconstructions.

2013–2015 MSc @ Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, HU
For my master’s thesis, I conducted bulk rock stable isotope analyses, field gamma-ray spectroscopy, and magnetic susceptibility measurements to identify and time the Early Cretaceous Weissert Carbon Isotope Event at a regionally significant section in Hungary. My advisor was Prof. József Pálfy.

2010–2013 BSc @ Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, HU

Research Skills

I can manage a geochemical laboratory and uphold safety protocols.

I independently operate analytical instruments, such as an isotope ratio mass spectrometer or an electron microscope, and identify and solve minor technical problems.

Straightforward and concise communication of the scientific outcomes of my research forms a fundamental part of my activities.

I work with MS Office and Adobe Illustrator on a professional level. I am comfortable to code in R and Matlab.
